Integrating physical activity in children’s lives is essential for creating a foundation of movement and activity that they will carry with them throughout the rest of their lives.

Our public classes allow parents and caregivers to see and/or participate in their child’s development first hand. Our classes are held throughout the day and in a variety of environments including local community centres, Monkeynastix venues, dance studios etc.

Babynastix – 1 to 2 years

Enjoy a fun packed Monkeynastix lesson with your little one with a variety of safe activities and music!

Starting to develop children’s fundamental movement skills each class includes a fun Babynastix song, stretching positions and locomotion. Each week a circuit is set out with particular themes such as balance, jumping, etc, where children explore different stations. Following the main activity children then participate in a fine motor activity. Participants are then introduced to manipulative skills such as throwing, kicking and catching. Each lesson ends with a fun closing song and a Monkeynastix sticker handout. New equipment and lessons are introduced weekly.

Full adult participation required. One adult per child. Note: children must be walking independently.
